Cookies and tracking
Version 1.0 · last updated 4 October 2026
Needed for twirlr to work
- twirlr.app sets no cookies. It keeps your sign-in, the answers you have typed while setting up an association, and a count of failed sign-in attempts in your browser’s local storage.
- The console uses sign-in cookies and a cookie that signs you out after a period of not using it.
- The app keeps your sign-in and settings in your phone’s encrypted storage, including your last few searches, so it opens quickly.
What we do not do
- twirlr.app has no analytics, advertising or social media cookies.
- We do not track whether you open our emails or click their links.
- The app reads no advertising ID and has no ads or third party analytics.
Changing your mind
In the app: Settings, Privacy. If we ever add anything optional, twirlr.app will ask first and every page will have a link to change your choice.
