Approximate city
For adults, twirlr uses the town your internet connection points to (from Cloudflare, which carries our traffic), at most once a day, to show competitions and troupes near you. We keep the town, country and a rough position (about 10 km). Your IP address itself is not stored. Never for under 18s.
Competition day (adults who opt in)
On iPhone, if you turn it on for a competition you are entered in or have tickets for, the app notices on your phone when you arrive at or leave that venue. Only the fact that you arrived or left is sent, never your position, and we use it to show that competition first. It is not offered on Android yet.
