What you control

• Approve your child’s account and, under 16, every clip before it shows.
• Choose whether results show on their profile.
• From 13, choose whether their profile can be seen outside their association (under 13s never can).
• There are no messages between members on twirlr. Your child can only message their troupe leader, association or safeguarding officer.

What twirlr never does for under 18s in the UK

• Use watch time to order their feed.
• Send notifications designed to bring them back.
• Show personalised ads or collect an advertising ID.
• Use their location, or let them use Find friends.

Their data

You can download what twirlr holds about your child, or ask us to delete it, from your own account or by emailing privacy@twirlr.app.

Worried about something?

Report it in the app or email safety@twirlr.app. Reports about a child go to the association’s safeguarding officer first.
